I read Tarot, I have a small collection of tarot decks, but the one that I use for professional readings is the Tarot of Northern Shadows. I have had this deck for a long time, and it feels like an old friend. Occasionally, if I need clarification, I use a pendulum to make sure my interpretation is correct.

When did you first become aware of your abilities and how have you continued to learn and grow with your gift?
I received my first Tarot deck when I was 22. I read for my family and friends with good results. After much practice, I began reading professionally. I did readings at house parties (It was exciting, but I got terrible stage fright and gave it up after a year.) Readings in a booth at festivals was a lot more fun. Reading with other tarot readers was interesting. In 1997 I began training in Core Shamanism; the techniques involve trance work. Deepening my connection with Spirit has helped in many areas of my life, including enhancing my Tarot reading as my Spirits support my work.
What are your other skills that you use to compliment your work as a committed caring and dedicated reader?
I have recently embarked on an in-depth study of the Northumbrian Runes to add rune reading to my work when I feel it will enhance a reading.
